The Discovery is a terrific freehand machine for the home hobbyist or the quilt artist.

It is among the lightest of the APQS line to allow for effortless control and precision.  It is perfect for art quilts with beautiful, intricate detail.

Like all APQS machines, the Discovery is powered by a quiet, covered DC motor and utilizes a hopping foot.

It weighs in at only 37 pounds and has a 20" throat.

The Discovery is available with your choice of Oak table or the upgraded universal aluminum alloy table that is used for all other APQS models.  This machine can be built to your specifications in regards to options like two-stage needle positioner, single-stitch function, built-in laser and power fabric advance.

The Discovery utilizes the same sewing components and belt-driven technology as our other machines but in a smaller, more basic machine.  The Discovery is a fast, affordable way to move into professional longarm machine quilting without sacrificing the APQS quality.
